We are often asked about our farm name. Our farm name was simple; our farm is located on Quail Lane in Middleburg, and we wanted to include that in the name.
The hound part is two fold. First, Middleburg is know for its fox hunting using hounds, and we always loved the Christmas parade depicting this old tradition. Also, we had two beautiful dogs of our own that we adored and enjoyed watching roam the property. Our dog, Milo was well-known through the neighborhood for greeting folks that passed Quail Lane. It seemed only natural for the name of our farm to be Quail and Hound. Our dog, Milo, is still on the original sign outside of the farm. Make sure to look for it the next time you are out here.
